This is a site dedicated to the professionals from the car industry, as well to the consumers at large with a strong passion for cars.

There is a relationship between any product and its manufacturer, the product, through its design, reflecting the philosophy of the company which made it. Selecting a certain brand, one ties the company’s philosophy to his/her preferences, trying to match them. In this case, as Marty Neumeier put it very simple and clearly in The Brand Gap, “A brand is a person’s gut feeling about a product, service or company… It’s a PERSON’S gut feeling, because in the end the brand is defined by individuals, not by companies, markets, or the so-called general public. Each person creates his or her own version of it. While companies can’t control this process, they can influence it by communicating the qualities that make this product different than that product. When enough individuals arrive at the same gut feeling, a company can be said to have a brand. In other words, a brand is not what you say it is. It’s what THEY say it is”.

In real life companies have a double image. The internal image, the employees develop and promote about their business and the external image, developed by the consumers themselves through contact with the company’s advertisement or products (visual or direct use).
The closer the two images are, the more successful a company is. That means the intentions and work of the employees are well intended and appreciated by the consumers. If the two images are farther apart, or they don’t match, that is the case of a less successful business which struggles on the market even if, in some cases, the product is of good quality.

The purpose of this site is to help automotive professionals from fields like design, product planning, marketing, advertising and sales find solutions to their problems through an exchange of opinions and experiences, this being an excellent opportunity to connect with consumers and communicate what their business stands for.
